Tri Bowl (트라이볼), Songdo Central Park, Songdo, Incheon, Korea

Home to the Incheon International Airport, Incheon is the second largest port city in Korea. It’s more than that though. Incheon is the third largest city in South Korea and features mainland fun as well as quite a few islands to explore too. Whether it’s a beach, and island, or even city fun, Incheon is the place to find it and it’s pretty easy to access via public transportation too.

How To Get To Incheon

By Plane

Of course, if you’re already in Korea, you probably won’t be flying in and out of Incheon, but I think it’s worth noting to everyone coming in that this is where you will most likely land first. See what you can do near the airport and around the city before you head in or out of Seoul. Check Skyscanner.com to find the cheapest option.

By Subway

You can get surprisingly far on the Seoul subway system. The Suin Bundan Line will take you all the way out to Oido Island in Incheon. You can also take Incheon Line 1 as far as Songdo, Incheon Line 2, and the Airport Line too. Check out the subway map when you’re planning your trips to see how far you want to go!

By Bus

There are a ton of buses that you can take to get in and out of Seoul. Similar to the subway system, check out where you are and where you want to go in Incheon, and you’re bound to find some buses heading that direction.

By Car

Some parts of Incheon, like Ganghwa Island are a bit easier to get to and enjoy with a car. It’s easy to rent a car and once you get out of Seoul, the roads are not congested and it’s easy to navigate. We’ve rented from Avis here in Seoul and it was easy and efficient. If you’re a Klook user, then they also help with rentals in Korea as well. Don’t underestimate the fun of a road trip just make sure to remember your International Driver’s License.
