Mongvely: All You Can Eat Korean BBQ Restaurant in Myeongdong
Last Updated on December 9, 2025
Korean BBQ is one of those must eat meals when in Korea, but have you been to an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant yet? I used to have a group of friends that absolutely loved the AYCE meat restaurants and we went often. Not just for those groups of guys that want to devour a ton, they’re also great options for the Korean BBQ first-timer so you can try a bit of this, a bit of that, and find the meat cuts you love, the side dishes you need, and the sauces that make everything better.
If you’re in the Myeongdong area and want to try a Korean BBQ all-you-can-eat option, look no further than Mongvely… of which there are TWO branches to choose from.

Understanding The Menu Options
Mongvely offers four main options, and all include unlimited self-serve meat and side dishes. Basically the difference is whether you want the beef intestines and how many soups you want:
- Basic Set 1: Includes beef and pork
- Price: Adults: W29,700, Children 8-10: W19,700, Children 4-7: W7,000
- Basic Set 2: Includes beef, pork, and beef intestines
- Price: Adults: W32,700, Children 8-10: W22,700, Children 4-7: W12,700
- Course 1: Includes beef, pork, unlimited doenjang jjigae, cold noodles, ramen, rice, and soft drinks
- Price: Adults: W37,700, Children 8-10: W27,700, Children 4-7: W15,000
- Course 2: Includes everything in course 1, plus beef intestines
- Price: Adults: W40,700, Children 8-10: W30,700, Children 4-7: W20,700

What’s at the meat and veg bar: Pork belly (samgyeopsal), thinly sliced beef, marinated beef, pork shoulder, a variety of side dishes, leafy greens for wraps, mushrooms, pumpkin, and zucchini as well as a number of sauces and seasonings.
We were honestly surprised by the quality. While I’m not an intestine fan usually, my husband is and he said the options, which can easily go wrong, were tender and flavorful.
Why You Should Visit Mongvely
You might think finding good food in Myeongdong is easy due to the concentration of so many restaurants in the touristy area, but honestly, it can be tricky if you don’t know where to look. There’s tons of street food, which I love, but sometimes you want a place to sit and sip, am I right? Especially after a long day of shopping among the other fun things to do in Myeongdong I’m sure you got into. This is one spot you can tag on your map to find when you’re done with the day’s fun.

Fresh Meat with Controlled Portions
Cuts are prepared daily in small batches so nothing sits out too long. That’s one of my biggest hang-ups with buffets and all-you-can-eat restaurants, wondering how long the food has been sitting out. The meat fridge area didn’t have intensely huge piles of meat thankfully. I was happily invested in watching how the staff adeptly refilled the meat stations as needed and regularly.
Tip: Start with small portions so you can try everything. One thing I often notice with tourists is wasted side dishes and food on tables. One benefit of a restaurant like Mongvely is that you can take a small amount, try first, see if you like it, and go back for more if you do, ensuring that food isn’t wasted.

Affordable Quality
Myeongdong is packed with food, but Korean BBQ can be hit-or-miss if you don’t want tourist pricing. Mongvely is straightforward, affordable, and genuinely good. We pretty much know what we like now, but it was fun to line up a variety of options and do a quick taste test side by side to remember why we love the ones we do.
All-You-Can-Eat Convenience
If you love trying different cuts, all-you-can-eat is ideal. No need to overthink the menu or worry about ordering too little, just go back for what you want. If it’s your first time ordering Korean BBQ and you don’t even know where to start, this is a great way to try some different cuts in smaller portions to see what you like.
Tip: Haven’t cooked on a Korean grill before? No worries, the Mongvely staff will also come to your table and help, showing you what to do and maybe even sticking around to cook some for you. Just ask for assistance.

Sauces Galore
Not just your standard Korean options like sesame oil and ssamjang, but they also had cheese powder, cumin, curry powder, homemade marinades, and loads of other options so you can mix and match and find your favorite flavor. While most restaurants choose how they want their meat represented, Mongvely lets you be the captain of the ship and choose everything down to the sauces and dips.

From Meat To Ramen
You choose your own meats, grab your sides, and grill everything at your own pace. For tourists, I think this is really ideal so you can pick and choose what you like and as much of it. There is also a station to make Korean ramen when you’re ready to wrap up your meal.
Tourist-friendly
Easy menus in a variety of languages, helpful staff, and a relaxed vibe make it approachable even if it’s your first time trying K-BBQ. If you want to know what to expect at Mongvely, check out their guide to eating at Mongvely.
If you have a good appetite, all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurants are unbeatable.
