WHIPPED Korean Skincare Review: Cleanser, Scrub and Soufflé Cream

Last Updated on June 3, 2026

Korean skincare has a reputation for innovation, but sometimes a brand comes along that feels fresh and fun, something a bit different. WHIPPED is one of those brands. With airy, whipped textures inspired by homemade recipes, their vegan products look and feel indulgent while delivering serious results. From creamy cleansers to soufflé-like moisturizers, every product feels decadent… and their descriptions might make you think they’re edible… but don’t eat them.

After visiting the WHIPPED House in Seongsu-dong in Seoul, I walked away with WHIPPED’s bestsellers: the Vegan Pack Cleanser, the Muhwabutter Scrub, and the Yujamong Vita Soufflé Cream. Sharing that signature “whipped” texture, they all bring something a bit different to the table.

What To Know About WHIPPED

WHIPPED is a Korean skincare brand that reimagines beauty with an entirely vegan product line inspired by homemade recipes. With a focus on airy, whipped textures, they combine nutrient-rich ingredients with effective actives like ceramides and niacinamide. Their goal is simple: skincare that feels luxurious, smells beautiful, and works hard, without harsh chemicals or animal testing.

Lookout: Make sure to check out their packaging. They add these funny random conversation snippets to their boxes. Another thing to note is that the “recipe” on the boxes is NOT the actual ingredients list, which is much lengthier. I noticed other people were confused by this and wanted to point it out. I think it’s more in line with their branding than meant to be the full ingredients list.

WHIPPED Yujamong Vegan Pack Cleanser Review

Type: Whipped cream cleanser

Key ingredients: Niacinamide, bakuchiol, ceramide NP, yuja (citrus junos) fruit extract, grapefruit extract, sodium hyaluronate, capryloyl salicylic acid

One of WHIPPED’s most popular items, having sold over 3 million units to date, I actually made my cleanser at the WHIPPED House in Seongsu-dong. Recently renewed for an even softer and more hydrating finish, this cleanser is whipped over 500 times into a fluffy cream that gently removes sunscreen, base makeup, and impurities in one go.

Enriched with yuja and grapefruit extracts, plus skin-loving actives like niacinamide, bakuchiol, and ceramides, it promises both cleansing power and skincare benefits in a single step. It’s pH-balanced for sensitive skin and cleanses while removing sebum and waste but keeping the moisture balanced.

When to use: Morning and evening as your sole cleanser. It removes sunscreen, base makeup, and impurities in one go.

My Thoughts: I can see why this cleanser has achieved cult status. The whipped cream texture is soft, bouncy, and quite unique from other cleansers. With a little water, it spreads easily across the skin, making cleansing feel more like a spa ritual. It goes on like a thick creamy lotion and then when water is added, it turns into a bubbly cleanser.

I noticed that my pores looked a little more refined and my complexion brighter after consistent use, which matches their clinical test claims for pore-tightening and glow improvement. The light citrus fragrance is refreshing without being overwhelming, and I love knowing it’s been tested for sensitive skin. This has definitely become one of my go-to cleansers because it’s quick, effective, and makes my skin so plump and soft after use.

WHIPPED Vegan Muhwabutter Scrub Review

Type: Face and body scrub

Key ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose (from spruce trees), shea butter, ceramide NP, niacinamide, capryloyl salicylic acid (LHA), sodium hyaluronate

Instead of traditional sugar and salt granules, it uses microcrystalline cellulose from spruce trees, making it 10X finer than sugar scrubs and they say it is gentler on sensitive skin. It is enriched with shea butter for moisturization, LHA, a next-gen low-irritation exfoliant, niacinamides and ceramides for nutrients. This scrub aims to buff away dead skin while deeply nourishing at the same time.

When to use: 2-3 times per week in the shower or bath.

It’s gentle enough for your face but effective enough for the body, especially areas prone to dryness and bumps. After the scrub and adding water, it lathers as well making it a scrub and body wash.

My Thoughts: The texture is unique. The scrub particles are fine, which means it works beautifully on the face without causing irritation. At the WHIPPED House, the staff showed me to scrub it on once without water, add a little water and scrub more, and then add more water until it lathers to rinse off. Take your time.

After rinsing, my skin feels smooth, soft, and refreshed, and I noticed a visible glow. I also love that it doesn’t strip moisture. For someone with dry skin, I have found all of the WHIPPED products I’ve tried so far are really moisture-plentiful.

For me, it’s the perfect balance between exfoliating and hydrating, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone who wants a gentle yet effective scrub. I’ve used it for a few months now and think my skin looks better for it.

WHIPPED Yujamong Vegan Vita Souffle Cream Review

Type: Soufflé-texture facial cream

Key ingredients: Squalane, shea butter, niacinamide, bakuchiol, retinol, ceramide NP, sodium hyaluronate, ascorbic acid, glutathione, multiple peptides (tripeptide-1, copper tripeptide-1, acetyl tetrapeptide-5, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, and more), grapefruit and yuja extracts

This soufflé-like cream is made with yuja fruits and grapefruit creating a fluffy texture that leaves the skin supple and radiant. Vita capsule within the formula is meant to deliver skin-vitalizing vitamins for a youthful, bright, and plump look.

When to use: End of skincare routine. Thick enough for night use year-round; can be used in the morning in cooler months.

My Thoughts: This is thick, creamy, and I definitely grabbed too much my first time. A little goes a long way. It rubs in easily though and is absorbed quickly, seeming to sort of melt into the skin. It absolutely does as promised giving the skin a natural glow and refined texture.

As I tend to have dry skin, I found this deeply nourishing. In the spring I was using it in the morning, but in the summer, I opted to use it at night before bed as it is thick though also somehow light at the same time. The souffle texture makes it feel one way, and then rubbing it in feels another. I loved it in my night routine. It kept my skin hydrated and I would wake up with fresh, plump skin. I’ve just about used the entire jar over the past four months and will purchase again.
