SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule Review
What is it? Ampoule
This ampoule is meant to provide intense hydration while balancing the sebum levels, reducing acne, dry patches, and skin irritation. On top of that, it promises to prevent the signs of aging and diminish the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
When to use it: After cleansing, apply the skin and let it absorb.
My Thoughts
Packaged in an elegant, opaque brown bottle, the ampoule is dispensed with a long, angled dropper. There is no fragrance that I could detect. This ampoule is milky and smooth and doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy residue.
It was actually a bit thicker than I expected and could pass for a light moisturizing lotion. I was able to pare down my skincare routine because of that and it being summer and my skin still felt supple and comfortable. I used this in both my day and night routine and found it worked well under make-up and otherwise.
Where To Buy: You can get SKIN1004 products on their Amazon storefront, Yesstyle, and Stylevana.

What is it? Barrier Cream
This thick smooth cream promises to reduce inflammation and irritation while supporting the skin barrier. It features fermented Madagascar Centella that soothes, Shea butter for rich moisturizing, and Ceramide NP to reinforce the skin barrier. There is also Macadamia Seed oil that enhances and locks in moisture.
When to use it: At the end of your skincare regime.
My Thoughts
The cream is fragrance free so if aromas annoy you, you’ll be fine with this cream. After using this cream for a few months now, I can say it’s a very nourishing and hydrating option for people with dry skin like me. It’s gentle, not sticky or heavy, but very hydrating.
The texture is a bit surprising as it’s light and a bit viscose to the touch like my favorite MIXSOON bean cream, but it’s not sticky on the skin. It is rich and I like applying it before I head to bed. It glides across the skin so comfortably. I wake with beautifully supple and moisturized skin. Because I tested it over the summer months, I mainly used it at night, but could see myself using it during the day during colder months.
