There’s something about the aroma of lavender that just can’t be beat. I can’t help but reach for a lavender shrub when I see one to rub a few leaves between my fingers so that I can enjoy that enchanting scent.
If you’re visiting Korea this summer, be sure to take a daytrip to find one of the beautiful lavender fields. There are so many beautiful places to visit and if they have flowers, all the better.

Where To Find Lavender Fields In Korea
There are lavender fields to be found from the southern coasts of Korea all the way up to almost touching the DMZ. From close to Seoul and far out, there are a lot of options. Find the farm that’s closest to you or the one that will make for the best road trip in Korea.
Pocheon Herb Island (포천허브아일랜드)
One of the easier places to get from Seoul. There are some great things to do in Pocheon and going in the summer when the lavender is blooming is a great time to visit.

- Join A Tour: If you don’t have a car, join a tour that goes out to Pocheon Herb Island and other fun places in the area. There’s a great Pocheon tour on Klook.
Hani Lavender Farm (하늬라벤더팜)
One of the more popular lavender fields in Korea, it’s out there, but worth the trek to the east coast of Korea.

- Join A Tour: Goseong is in the northeast corner of Korea and makes for quite the drive. It’s doable, but if you’d rather not, join a tour with kkday.
What To Look Out For: A lot of the farms that grow lavender also make lavender ice cream. It’s become a really popular treat to eat and take pictures of due to the beautiful lavender hue.
