It’s Wine Time! The New Zealand Wine Festival in Korea 2024
One of the best events each spring in Korea is coming up! An event for the wine lovers in Korea, the New Zealand Wine Festival hosted by the Kiwi Chamber of Commerce, which hosts an event in both Seoul and Busan each year, has tickets available now.
Whether you’re a wine novice or a seasoned oenophile, you’ll find plenty of reasons to go to the wine festival. The choice isn’t really about whether to attend, it’s deciding if you should go to the festival in Seoul, Busan, or both!

What to Expect This Year
This year, the theme of the event is Kia Ora Aotearoa, Hello New Zealand! Kia Ora, a heartfelt Māori greeting, symbolizes health and support, while Aotearoa represents New Zealand as the land of the long white cloud.
There will be over 25 sustainably grown premium wines complemented with an outstanding poolside BBQ in Seoul, and a delicious buffet in the grand ballroom in Busan.
This event isn’t just about wine, there are also live performances which include a traditional Māori haka performance this year as well as a live DJ.
On top of that, buy some raffle tickets and you could win some amazing prizes like airline tickets to New Zealand! I won a pretty awesome golden kiwi gift one year that was deliciously delectable.
Having attended for a number of years, I can say it’s one of the best ways to kick off spring in Korea and get into the event fun. It’s a great opportunity to taste and try wines that you can’t find anywhere else in Korea
