Kahina Eye Serum: The Best Eye Serum I’ve Tried
My daughter’s favorite thing to tell me is that I have “panda eyes”. I’m not sure how that started, but suffice to say, I’ve tried my fair share of eye serums. I’ve tried the COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream and the Wonjin Effect Medi Hydro Vial Eye Cream but the Kahina Giving Beauty Eye Serum has been my favorite by far. It’s definitely more costly than the others I’ve tried, but in the case of eye serums, it apparently makes quite the difference.
Having tried more than enough eye serums now, my opinion is that the Kahina Giving Beauty Eye Serum is the best eye serum out there and I’ve been using it for a couple years because I totally believe that.

About Kahina Giving Beauty
Kahina Giving Beauty aims to deliver the highest quality skincare while also providing economic independence to those that provide the raw materials for their products. After Katherine L’Heureux, founder and CEO, visited Morocco and met the Berber women who live in the argan forest in the Southwest of Morocco and extract the argan oil, she wanted to start a niche brand while also giving them a path to financial and social independence.
The company works to produce products while being environmentally sustainable and ethical sourcing natural and organic ingredients.
They’re also certified (from their site):
LEAPING BUNNY: Kahina Giving Beauty is proud to be Leaping Bunny certified. Leaping Bunny is an internationally-recognized certification that ensures that no animal testing is used in any phase of product development by the company, its laboratories or suppliers. All Kahina Giving Beauty products are certified cruelty free.

When To Use: Morning or night after cleansing
While this is an eye serum, they also recommend using it on the fragile skin of lips and the neck.
The Kahina Giving Beauty Eye Serum is promoted as an intense eye treatment that utilizes active botanicals to help those lines, wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles… or panda eyes as some people call them. This eye serum is rich in peptides and antioxidants that help increase lymphatic drainage to reduce the under eye puffiness, increases microcirculation to help with the dark circles, and improves elasticity.
The main ingredients in this eye serum are saccharamoyces cerevisiae, or brewer’s yeast, which helps increase microcirculation to reduce the the dark circles, along with rhodiola rosea root, an adopten that helps skin resist stress. And of course, there is argan oil that is rich in vitamin E, antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Argan oil neutralizes free radicals that cause signs of aging, restores elasticity, balances sebum production, and minimizes fine lines.
Packaging: I love companies that seek to be more sustainable. I share them as often as I can and here’s another one. Kahina uses 100% recycled paper for packaging and the bottles are made from high quality recyclable violet glass. (If you’re interested in some other great companies that are eco-friendly and sustainable, check out Pela for phone cases, WoodWatch for watches and sunglasses, and Allbirds for amazing shoes.)
My Thoughts: The texture of the serum is a really light sort of gel or oil and it is quickly absorbed. There isn’t any tackiness or irritating effects instead it leaves a quite dewy finish that isn’t heavy and doesn’t feel greasy either and definitely makes it seem like my under eye area is brighter. If you have dark under eye areas, that is an issue that isn’t really easy to change with just a serum, but for someone like me who doesn’t necessarily have dark circles… unless I’m tired, this definitely made a difference in my overall appearance. If your primary concern is dryness, irritation, or fine lines, this could be the product for you.
I’ve used this product both morning and evening for over a year.. might be two by now, and you definitely just need a bit for each eye… not as much as in that photo… that’s just for the photo. It is very efficient and just a bit does the trick. I didn’t try it on my lips or neck but that’s because my “problem” area was the eyes.
It’s a small bottle and more expensive than other eye serums that I’ve tried so I just wanted to stick to the eye area. I’ve loved having this in my routine and will definitely keep using it. It’s definitely worth the extra bucks in my opinion.
